Beijing Langqiao Surface Technology Co. (LQ) is the earliest company in China developed cored wire for arc spray application. Since Year 2000, LQ had started its R&D work on cored wire for arc spray with Beijing University of Technology.

Sept. of 2001, LQ launches its new cored wire product LX88A. It is an ultra-hard cored wire for arc spray use. This wire can produce coating with the hardness of over HRC70 and the bond strength as high as 45MPa.

LX88A is recommended to be used for particle abrasion, erosion and wear resistant applications, typically include fluidized boiler tubes, industrial fan blades, pulp impellers, wire drawing pulleys and plastic impellers.
